As Executive Director of Epiq Bankruptcy Solutions, Dan McElhinney oversees the day-to-day operations of the corporate restructuring business unit.  Before joining EBS, Dan worked with Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, representing debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, and other parties in interest in complex federal bankruptcy proceedings.  Among his many duties, Dan was Lead Associate assigned to coordinate several significant chapter 11 case filings, including General Fiber Communications, Inc., CoreComm New York, Inc., Maxxim Medical Group, Inc., Classic Communications, Inc., and Converse Inc..  He negotiated debtor-in-possession financings, cash collateral stipulations, chapter 11 plans and disclosure statements, asset purchase agreements, and auction procedures and protections, among other things. Prior to his time with Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, Dan served as Law Clerk for two years to the Honorable Arthur J. Gonzalez of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, S.D.N.Y.
